All of our coaches are CRB checked and accredited with either the British Gymnastics Association (BGA), British Cheerleading Association (BCA) or International All Star Federation (IASF). Assistant coaches are hand picked by the head coach, after a long-term commitment to the club displaying great dedication, great skill and leadership qualities.
Our Head Coach:
Paul Butler is a highly experienced professional dancer (National Diploma in Professional Dance/Musical theatre) and a fully qualified Cheerleading Coach (NCSSE Masters Level). He has trained in Manchester (British Cheerleading Association) and Washington D.C with the ‘Cheer Eruption All Stars’ and currently coaches 3 clubs in the UK.
As a competing cheerleader, Paul has brought home 1st and 2nd place trophies at the 2007 BCA International Competition and the BCA Southern Classic at Brighton. Paul’s performing credits include ‘Calamity Jane’ (UK Tour and West End), ‘Cinderella’ (Sand Centre – Carlisle), ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ (Victoria Palace Theatre – London), Robin Hood (Corn Exchange – Newbury), Dick Whittington (North Wales Theatre – Llandudno), World Cruise aboard P&O Aurora (Cruising Musicals Consortium) and West Side Story (Cannizaro Park – Wimbledon).
Paul is also artist in residence at the Boswells School in Chelmsford, Essex. He coordinates the adult dance programme, gifted and talented dance, musical theatre, and the annual gifted and talented summer school.
In April 2006 & August 2008 he trained with Cheer Eruption All-stars in Winchester, Virginia, USA, and the Strasburg High School Cheerleading Squad. Paul is also first aid trained and is CRB checked (enhanced).
Our Head Coach (Cheervision North):
Brooke Urbani, Head Coach of Cheervision North is an experienced professional dancer and dance teacher (National Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, Arts Ed London) and is a qualified cheerleading coach (NCSSE Level 1,2 3 and 4). Brooke has been resident dance teacher at Stagecoach, Huddersfield for the last four years, helping to develop the school from start up. She regularly guest teaches at dance schools in the North of England, primarily in street dance and musical theatre styles. Brooke believes in developing confidence and strength through performance and training. She is fully committed and truly excited to be bringing Cheervision to the North of England.
Our Coaches
Carleen Betteridge is a BGA accredited Level 2 General Gymnastics Coach.
As well as her tumbling qualifications, Carleen brings exceptional skills as a trampoline coach (she is founder and director of Oxfordshire’s “Flying Solo Trampoline Club”) into training with our new Park House Club. She has also worked for the last 4 years as a specialist trampoline coach at King Alfred’s Community & Sports College, and the Park Sports Centre, both in Oxfordshire.
Carleen still trains and compete in trampolining events in the UK.
Gareth Green is a BGA accredited Club Coach, as well as a BGA County Judge. He holds BND’s in Sports Massage Therapy &and Sports Science, and an NVQ3 in health and social care.
Gareth’s gymnastics has taken him around the world. He worked during the 2002 commonwealth games in Manchester for 5 weeks in a team that insured the smooth running of the gymnastics competitions. He has spent time in Moscow with some of the world’s greatest gymnasts and coaches developing his skills as well coaching in the USA, South Africa and Germany. He coached under high performance coach and international brevet judge Karen Hofan for 7 years and his gymnasts have reached national finals at all levels.
Sarah Morgan - Cheer Coach
Sarah currently works by day in the History Department at Park House High School, Newbury, and by night as a cheer coach. She is an accomplished roller skater, having competed from a young age all over the UK. Sarah currently assists the Park House Pee Wees and Juniors and trains in the Park House Seniors. Sarah is Cheer Coach at our Willink Club, coaching the Preps, Pee Wees and Juniors.
Billie Roberts - Tumble Coach
Billie is high performance tumbler who discovered cheerleading two years ago wqhen she tried out for the Burntwood High School Squad. Billie now coaches the Burntwood Pee Wees, Juniors and assists with the Seniors. She also coaches at the nearby Mayfield Gymnastics Club. Billie is currently studying at Richmond College.
Olivia Porterio - Tumble Coach
Olivia joined Cheervision in October 2008 as a cheerleader in the Burntwood Seniors. Her coaching skills were soon discovered and she now coaches the Burntwood High School Squad as well as assisting with the Burntwood Seniors. A highly skilled dancer, cheerleader and tumbler, and a coach with extreme attention to detail. Olivia also coaches at Mayfield Gymnastics Club.
Sam Edwards – Cheer & Tumble Coach
Sam is currently studying Musical Theatre at Arts Ed, London on the three year musical theatre course. Sam has been a cheerleader for three years, as part of the Boswells School Squad. Sam guest teaches cheer and tumble.
Kirsty is currently in her final year of A Levels at Park House School and is part of the Park House High School Squad. Kirsty currently assists with the Pee Wees, Juniors and Seniors at Park House Club.
Shavel Silvera - Assistant Cheer & Tumble Coach
Shavel was one of the first cheerleaders to be coached by Paul Butler, back when he started at Burntwood School. She currently assists the Burntwood Juniors, also working alongside Coach Alicia with the Burntwood Pee Wees. She left Burntwood School in 2008 to study for her A Levels at Graveney School. She currently cheers in the Burntwood Seniors.
Alicia Wedderburn Graham - Assistant Cheer & Tumble Coach
Alicia was in the first group of girls that Coach Paul ever taught (at Burntwood School). Alicia now assists the Burntwood Pee Wees and is also Cheer Coach for the City Preps, based at the City of London School for Girls. Alicia has also competed with City Seniors, Park House Seniors and is currently cheering in the Burntwood Seniors. Who knows who she’ll cheer for next! Alicia left Burntwood School in 2008 to study for her A Levels at Graveney School.
Jecoliah Parker – Assistant Cheer Coach
Jecoliah currently assists the Burntwood High School Squad, the squad in which she used to cheer. She now cheers in the Burntwood Seniors and is studying for her A Levels at Burntwood School. A keen performing artist, Jecoliah sings, dances and acts non stop!
Amy Fraser - Assistant Cheer & Tumble Coach
Amy is currently studying for her A Levels at the Willink School, Berkshire. She has been a cheerleader ever since the project started there in summer 2008. Aimee assists the Preps, Pee Wees and Juniors at Willink and cheers in the Willink High School Squad.
Leah Redding - Assistant Cheer & Tumble Coach
Leah is currently studying for her A Levels at the Willink School, Berkshire. She has been a cheerleader ever since the project started there in summer 2008. Leah assists the Preps, Pee Wees and Juniors at Willink and cheers in the Willink High School Squad. She also trains at the Theale Green Tumble Club.

Rose Morbin - Front Desk Assistant
Rose first discovered cheerleading when she accompanied a friend to watch the Burntwood High School compete for the first time in Telford, 2007. When the new club was launched her daughter joined the club and when the front desk job became available she took it! Friendly and helpful – the perfect Cheer Mum!
Paula Rhoads - Front Desk Assistant
Paula has been with Park House Cheervision since it launched in 2008 and now works at Willink Cheervision too. With a daughter in Park House Pee Wees, Paula understands the needs of both the children, parents and coaches. Reliable and efficient – the perfect Cheer Mum!
Cathryn Potter - Assistant Front Desk Assistant
Cathryn is the Head of PE at Burntwood School, and has been heavily involved with cheerleading since it first started at the school in May 2006. She now cheers in the Burntwood Seniors as well as often assisting the Pee Wees and Juniors. A keen sportswoman, she now adds cheerleading to her accomplishments.
Anne Edwards - Administrator
Anne currently works part time in the Cheervision office and is the person who sorts out your accounts, problems and queries. Anne is also an accomplished voice over artist regularly recording voice tags, and is currently the voice of Vodaphone travel information line. Anne knows plenty about cheerleading too, as her son was a member of the Boswells School Cheer Squad in Chelmsford (2006-2008).
